My well-being relies on how I treat my body.

My well-being relies on how I treat my body.

My body is a vessel for my mind and soul. My overall well-being depends on how well I treat my vessel.

Proper treatment of my body involves eating healthily. Nutrients play a host of functions in keeping me in top shape. I incorporate nutrient-dense foods into each meal. Deliberate meal planning ensures that I consume good servings of the right things.

When I eat well, my mind functions efficiently. I am rarely sluggish at work when I start the day with a healthy breakfast. It is an essential element to productivity.

Exercise prevents me from having injuries. Having a structured workout schedule keeps my muscles and joints flexible and strong. A fitness habit allows my body to withstand the threats of illness and stressful situations.

Although stressors often times impact my mental wellness, they also attack my body. I am proactive in my fight against the things that threaten my health and wellness.

Getting good rest keeps my organs running efficiently. It also gives my skin a glow each morning. Whenever I sacrifice sleep, I feel tormented and unsettled. I am able to avoid those feelings by ensuring that I get at least seven hours of sleep each night.

There is little room for worry when I treat my body well.

Today, keeping my body well and fit is a part of my every day routine. I practice habits that ensure overall health and wellness.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. How do I ensure continued mental wellness?
  2. How do I compensate for missed workouts when I am forced to work long hours?
  3. How do I ensure that I give myself downtime to relax?
